Thanks for the Inspiration to Start Cuclis PR Blog

You heard me announce at the Wired Sonoma mixer that the postings I wrote here inspired me to start my own blog. Acutally, I had been thinking about starting a blog for a long time, but took awhile to figure out my theme. With all the PR and marketing bloggers out there, I didn't want to do more of the same. As a PR pro, I've been closely watching the changing media landscape. Something I feel compelled to talk about.

So today I launched my blog on cuclispr.com.My blog will focus on what's happening with media in the North Bay, and discuss how businesses, local government and community leaders are communicating in this changing environment. I'll provide commentary on who I think is doing it right, and who I think still has a lot to learn. Because the standard rules of sound communication strategy don't change: know your audience, know your message, before you start to speak.

I'll also provide practical PR and publicity tips, and suggestions of other places on the web to find quality information about public relations, marketing and the media.
