Virgin Launches iPad-only Magazine

Today Richard Branson's Virgin empire launched a new iPad-only magazine called Project. I downloaded the app and purchased issue 1 for $2.99. After a slow and interrupted download, I was able to view the issue.

PHP/MySQL development available

Hi everyone,



I'm looking for small PHP/MySQL jobs to make some extra cash.



Maybe you need some HTML forms to save customer data. Maybe you need a relational database designed. Maybe you need a couple of PHP functions written. I've developed a simple framework over my ten years of using PHP, and as lead developer of one of the most popular science sites on the web.

AOL's hyperlocal news project "Patch" Coming to Sonoma Valley

By the end of November, the Sonoma Index Tribune and Sonoma Sun will have more competition. AOL is soon bringing its hyperlocal news site project Patch to four Sonoma County communities, including Sonoma Valley. Sonoma Patch is scheduled to launch November 23. Petaluma, Healdsburg and Rohnert Park will also be getting Patch sites.
