I hope all Wired Sonoma members interested in history were able to see the re-enactment on Sunday, June 14. It was the best yet.40 period clothed re-enactors in the cast. 300 people watching. Neither Fable nor Farce: Why the Bear Flag Revolt was justified
By George Webber and Peter MeyerhofOn June 14th a living history re-enactment of the Bear Flag Revolt will take place in the Sonoma Town Plaza. Period clothed re-enactors will declare California a Republic free from Mexican rule and a flag with a poorly drawn bear upon it will wave to the cheers of hundreds of spectators.
