More About Me:

I live in Sonoma, CA with my lovely wife and 3 year old daughter. They are both awesome.

I work for Forum One Communications as the Chief Community Officer. I write the Online Community Report blog and newsletter. I run the OC Research Network, and conduct research on topics like online community metrics, ROI, and marketing via social media. I also plan and host conferences about online community, like the recent Online Community Unconference. I enjoy my job very much.

I have worked for Autodesk, TechRepublic.com (grew it from 0 to 2mm), and I built eframe.net (it is really ugly now) waaayyyy back in the day. I have had a blast along the way.

I also direct a professional networking group called the Online Community Roundtable in the Bay Area which meets quarterly, and always starts with cocktails.

Bill,  We'll be presenting Knowme at January 25th Wired Sonoma meeting.  I would like you to come to the meeting if you can.  We never hooked up for you to really see what we do..Disregard our website, it s being re-done, it shows 20% of what we do.  I am have big plans for Social aspect of our application and this would be a good opportunity to see it and catch up with other members.  let me know if you can come and if not we'l need to get together soon.  Also I sent you and invitation to join as my friend but did not get any reply - it must have gotten lost in mail.  Best, Boris

Bill,

Thanks for joining us at Wired Sonoma! I don't recognize your name but your face looks very familiar to me. We're glad to have you as a part of our community. If you have any other colleagues, associates, friends in the valley who you think might be interested in becoming part of our community, please feel free to invite them.

Hopefully, you'll be able to join us at our first social on the 10th.

Chip
